Saddle Seat Canada is hosting a riding clinic with special guest Allison Deardorff

Silverado Horse Center, Cochrane, AB.


Allison is a trainer and instructor at Deardorff Stables in both Oregon and Kentucky. In 2017 Allison judged at Morgan Grand Nationals  and in 2018 Allison will be a judge at the World Championship Horse Show in Louisville. She is the youngest woman to ever do so!

Open to Saddlebreds, Morgans and Arabs!

Equine Canada hosted Saddle Seat Instructors Beginners Evaluations Certification

October 2016

The evaluations, if passed by the students, are the last step in obtaining a Saddle Seat Instructors of Beginners Certification through Equestrian Canada. 

The evaluations include written and oral tests, lunging, teaching a lunge line lesson, long lining, teaching un mounted and mounted lessons and tests stable management skills. The evaluations were hosted in Cocharane, Alberta.

2016 World Cup

July 4-9, 2016

Teams competed at the International Saddle Seat World Cup July 7-9, 2016  in Stellenbosch, South Africa

Canada brought home bronze in both the 3 and 5 gaited divisions. 

2016 World Cup Trials

September 11- 13, 2015

The trials were a great success and riders participated in an exciting weekend.  Judges for the trials were Pam Zimmerman and David Brent who were instrumental in helping to choose our team for the World Cup Competition in South Africa
